Disney Cruise Line

Hi!

It´s me Margo and today I´m gonna talk about Disney Cruise Line. I will talk about the history of this company. In next 4 post I will alk abou each of the 4 ships.

DCL was created in 1995 when DCL signed a contract to build 2 new ships in Fincantieri shipyard. Those 2 ships were Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. DCL serves area of Alaska and the Pacific Coast, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Mediterranean. In 2015 there will be sailings to Northern Europe. On 2007 Disney announced 2 other ships: Disney Dream (launched in 2011) and Disney Fantasy (launched in 2012). When Disney Fantasy was completed Disney Wonder went to Alaska. Fantasy and Dream were built in Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. Disney Cruise Line is the best cruise company for families.

DLP-Disney Dreams

Hi!

It´s me Margo and today I´m gonna talk about the greatest nightime spectacular in Disney´s history (that´s what I think)- Disney Dreams. I´m gonna talk about parts of the show and history of the show.

Disney Dreams was designed specially for the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Park. It´s first showing was on April 1 2012. The show features fireworks, water fountains, projection mapping onto the park´s castle, fire music, lasers, lights, mist screens and other special effects.The castle can be transformed in numerous ways such as shrinking, spinning and turrets flipping.

The show is divided to 13 parts

1. Main Title from Return to Never Land. Featuring "You can fly", "Never Smile at a Crocodile" and   ,,A Pirate´s Life  
2. "The Second Star to the Right" from Peter Pan
3. "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast. Featuring Can-can.
4. "Le Festin" from Ratatouille.
5. "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin.
6. "Out There" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
7. "I Just Can´t Wait to Be King/Hakuna Matata/The Circle of Life" from Lion King.
8. "Remember to Smile/Fate and Destiny/Touch the Sky" from Brave.
9. "I See the Light" from Tangled.
10. "Friends on the Other Side" from The Princess and the Frog.
11. Reprise " You Can Fly!"
12. Reprise "The Second Star to the Right"
13. Closing Song "Come Dream a Dream" written for the show, performed by Cara Dillon and Sam Lakeman

This show has a winter version.

WDW-Sorcerer´s Hat and The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow being removed from Hollywood Studios!

It´s me Margo and today I´m gonna talk aboutsome breaking news which came out yesterday. The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow and Sorcere Hat will be removed. I will talk about history of both things and then I wait for your thoughts.

Sorcerer´s Hat in Hollywood Studios

Sorcerer´s Hat has been the icon of HWS for 13 years and yesterday it was announced that it will be gone in early 2015. Sorcerer´s Hat opened on 28th September 2001. They built it for a celebration 100 years of magic (100th birthday of Walt Disney). Now it looks like there´s gonna be new icon which will probably be the Earful Tower which was the symbol of HWS before the Sorcerer´s Hat. The middle plaza will be empty again :( .

The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow

TLoCJS is a immersive walktrough experience with special effects. Guests will follow Jack Sparrow movies. This walktrough replaced Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian. It opened on 6th December 2012 and it will close on 6th November 2014.

Tower of Terror

Hi!

It´s me Margo and today I´m gonna talk about The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. I will retell the parts of this experience, I´ll talk about the history of ToT and other things also.

There are 4 ToT´s in the world. ToT is in Disney´s Hollywood Studios in Florida, Disney California Adventure in California, Walt Disney Studios Park near Paris and a little bit mixed up version at Tokyo Disneysea in Japan.

Florida version:

This is the original ToT ride and it opened in 1994 

It reaches top speed of 30.7 miles per hour.(49.4 km per hour)

Tower is 60.7 (199 ft) meters in height.

Florida ToT

California version:

This was the second ToT as it opened in 2004.

Tower is 55.8 meters (183 ft) in height.

California ToT

France version:

This was the third ToT as it opened in 2008

Building of French ToT cost 180 million euros.

France ToT

Japan version:

This is totally a different ride because this ride has another story.

The building is different.

Ride is still almost the same.

Hotel is named Hotel Hightower

Typically are all ToT rides divided to 3 parts:

1. Corridor scene:
The elevator rises for a few seconds before coming to its first stop. The doors open to reveal a long, dimly-lit hotel corridor. There you can see the 5 ghosts of elevator passengers.
2. Fifth Dimension scene:The elevator doors close and the car continues its ascent.The elevator stops once more. The doors open to what at first looks like a maintenance room, but slowly transforms into a field of stars.
3. Drop sequence:Elevator starts dropping and rising and at least once doors will open and you will see the view of the park. Drops are controlled by computer. After a series of drops elevator returns to the basement and the ride ends.

WDW-Studio Backlot Tour and American Idol Experience CLOSED

Hi!

It's me, Margo and today I'm gonna talk about Studio Backlot Tour and American Idol Experience which both closed few weeks ago.

So SBT was a ride where you saw the backlots of Hollywood Studios. Also there was some kind of Canyon Disaster scene

 In American Idol you were invited to audition and when you were good enough you got to the other audition and when you passed the second audition you were invited to final and in final you sang in front of audition and judges.

But the question is what's coming to Hollywood Studios. I've heard rumours that there will be Radiator Springs Racers like in Disney California Adventure Park in California. Or maybe they will even build whole Cars Land. But anyway we will hear about it soon. At least I hope so.

WDW-Maelstrom vs Frozen

Hi!

It's me, Margo and in my first topic I talk about Maelstrom and what do I think about it's closing and what do I wait from new upcoming Frozen ride.

So few weeks ago Epcot closed Maelstrom to make space for Frozen ride.
Well what do I think about it.

I think that Maelstrom was a great ride for Norway pavilion. I think Frozen ride will destroy the spirit of Norway pavilion because World Showcase is not a place for movie rides. They should put this to Magic Kingdom because this is the park where should be fairytale rides and rides like Frozen. But still I can't wait to see how this ride will look. I think there will be scenes which feature songs from movie and maybe something else too. And because it opens already in early 2016 I think that maybe they will just change the scenes and they will use the same track for the Frozen ride. I think it is a great movie but they should build this ride to some other park.

But that's what I think.
